The head of the animal is beautifully modelled, and each eye is a tiny ruby. Around its neck is a garter belt. This tie pin could possibly represent a Scottish clan crest, such as the Horsburgh Clan Crest or the Tait Clan Crest (there may be others). The pin looks superb on a colourful silk tie.
