Pear Market meditation One day my son read

One day my son read me a poem he’d written about whales

and imagine renewal even after the moment of breaking

Paired with another artwork in this series where mixed media explores uplifting vibrant colours and movement of brushstrokes

The texture and its absence build depth for viewers to loose themselves in the minimalistic construction

Pear Market meditation One day my son readA playful interpretation of pears, shapes and bold colours. I line up various shaped pear, miniaturised them and imagine they're having a chat to one another discussing their vibrant attire and placement on the rich velvet backdrop as they jostle for the best spot. If you love pears and their sensual shapes be sure to look up my Pear Collection for more fun pear paintings in this series.
