Winter in Norway by Alfred Heaton Cooper (1863 - 1929) Books - Childrens Art GN17 GreenAlfred first travelled to Norway in July 1891 and spent nearly a year travelling, painting and sketching in the fjords north of Bergen. Strongly influenced, as he was, by the Impressionists, this watercolour neatly encapsulates Alfred's growing maturity as an artist. An ethereal winter scene with three figures is depicted with simple but effective brushwork. Inner Print Sizes: Framed 292 x 304mm 11. 5 x 12 inches (Inner Print: 128 x 128mm 5 x 5
