EMAHOY TSEGE MARIAM GEBRU - SOUVENIRS Deftones reframing the original’s big beatNot altogether too many nuns on this site but here's one. Emahoy Tsege Mariam Gebru is also a famed Ethiopian composer and pianist who in the mid 1970s made a series of boombox recordings of voice and piano with the backdrop being the political upheaval of the time. A warts and all recording you can hear birdsong and the creaking of chairs between the notes sadly Gebru passed away before the album finally got a release to a larger audience.
