Perheenjäsenet (Family members) Contemporary sculpturesThe characters in Family Members are all bald and pale skinned, highlighting both their blood ties and the bad habits and weaknesses they share. This twisted family sits down to eat, ready to turn on one another like their own dogs. The work combines soft and oil pastels, layered to create textured surfaces and an unsettling atmosphere within a domestic setting.
