French late 19th Century sailor male oil painting portrait on stretched canvas church candlesticks Measurements are 15cm H xA very handsome French late 19th Century sailor male oil painting portrait on stretched canvas. The painting has some areas of damage where the canvas has tears. I have shown these areas in close detail images. The painting was bought as a pair & found in a barn in France together, with the young lady French portrait I have listed. I'm not sure if they were related or married? This painting measure 45cm W x 60cm H.
