Summer Green No.2 Amy Hoedemakers cast in sterling silver andOil on canvas 910mm x 610mm Summer Green Series Studio "During last summer I did a number of "Plein Air" (outdoor) paintings in a bush area on the banks of the Hangatahua Stony River. At the particular spot I chose to paint, the intense Summer sun shone brightly through the fresh green leaves of young native trees. The black thin branches of the kawakawa created criss cross patterns over the green, leafy background. This appealed to me as subject
