About the Principal

Michael Meier

Founder & Chairman, 2M Capital Ltd

Michael Meier brings close to three decades of senior-level experience across investment management, investment governance, asset management, and strategic advisory in Switzerland and internationally.

Prior to founding 2M Capital Ltd, he held Deputy of the CIO and Deputy of the Head Asset Management positions at leading Swiss multi-family office and asset management platforms — with responsibility for strategic and tactical asset allocation, risk management, and investment committee leadership across multi-asset and alternative investment strategies. He subsequently co-founded and led an asset management boutique as Founding Partner, CEO, and CIO / Head of Hedge Funds. 
Michael has served as a Board Member and external Investment Committee member for institutional and private clients. His earlier career spans senior portfolio management roles at Swiss family office and wealth management firms, as well as foundational experience at a major Swiss universal bank.
He holds professional designations including CAIA and FRM, with further education in M&A, blockchain, and AI-driven investment analysis.
