Ævisaga Sigurðar Ingjaldssonar frá Balaskarði Gender studies As is the case withSigurar Ingjaldsson has been described as the Icelandic Baron Munchausen. His autobiography was read in every home a dozen times over. His style is naive but playful, as Sigurur recounts his numerous adventures at sea and land.
