Castello di Volpaia 2021 Chianti Classico Riserva September Made with top grade HyogoThe venerable Castello di Volpaia sits high up in the province of Radda in Chianti at elevations between 1300 1970ft. This high elevation works perfectly with the near ideal 2021 vintage allowing Castello di Volpaia to create an incredibly alluring Riserva. Soaring aromatics combine with a silky smooth palate that displays that illusive combination of density, elegance and balance. Notes of sage, fine leather, and cherries linger on the suave palate.
