Photo from 1923 of Young Boy in Sailor Suit - 20th Century Michigan Photography Laura_Secord Sun Temple looks down onThis Classic photo was taken in 1923, when sailor suits were the height of boys' fashion. The little boy is wearing a U. S. Navy uniform, as evidenced by the symbol on his left arm featuring the crossed anchor and eagle symbol. The specific symbol here looks like a Boatswain's Mate's symbol and Chief Petty Officer designation. This child would be from a family of great means, as professional photos were still uncommon in most households. Great gift
